The 2025 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) brought forward key advances shaping the future of hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative (HR+ HER−) advanced breast cancer care. From novel trial designs to emerging resistance pathways and supportive care considerations, new data are helping refine treatment decisions and personalize therapy. Joining Dr. Pavani Chalasani to unpack these developments and how they inform next steps in advanced breast cancer care is Dr. Alison Stopeck. She’s a Professor of Medicine at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University in New York, as well as the Chief of the Division of Hematology Oncology and the Associate Director for Clinical and Translational Research at the Stony Brook Cancer Center.
